Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Adbrake ("Adbrake", "we", "us"), a product operated by BUSINESS_NAME, collects when you use our website and service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What Adbrake does
Adbrake monitors the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad accounts you connect and sends alerts to Slack, Telegram or email when an ad set appears to be wasting money. If you separately opt in, you can pause an ad set from an alert.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and login details when you sign up or contact us.
- Meta data: when you connect with Facebook, we receive an access token and, with your permission, read your ad accounts' names, IDs, ad set and ad names, status, and performance numbers such as spend, impressions, results and cost per result. We request
ads_readto read this data and, only if you opt in to pausing,ads_managementto pause or resume ad sets when you tap a button. - Alert destinations: the Slack workspace and channel, Telegram chat ID, or email address you choose for alerts.
- Billing information: payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and your plan, but never your full card number.
- Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect information about the people who see or click your ads, and we do not read your ads' audiences' personal data.
3. How we use information
- To provide the service: check your ad accounts, detect problems, and send alerts.
- To take an action you request, such as pausing an ad set when you tap Pause.
- To run billing, provide support, and send important service messages.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run Adbrake (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and the Slack and Telegram platforms you choose to send alerts to), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Retention
We keep ad performance data for up to 90 days. We keep account information while your account is active. When you disconnect Facebook, we delete your access tokens immediately. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records by law.
6. Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, all traffic uses HTTPS, and access to production systems is restricted.
7. Your rights and choices
You can disconnect Facebook at any time from Adbrake or from your Facebook settings under Business Integrations. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing us. See our data deletion instructions.
8. Children
Adbrake is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
